Die Appalachian Distillery ist ein Familienunternehmen das hochwertigen Sour-Mash Moonshine, Whiskey und Bourbon herstellt und im Besitz von Dwayne und seiner Frau Sandra Freeman ist.

Im rar besiedelten West Virginia gibt es sehr wenige Destillen, obwohl die Region als die Geburtsstätte des Moonshine bekannt ist. Aber nicht nur deswegen ist  die Appalachian Distillery einer der wichtigsten Attraktionen für den Tourismus in West Virginia.

Die Familie Freeman lebt und liebt die alte Moonshine Tradtion und das sieht und schmeckt man mit jedem Tropfen von ihrem Appalachian Moonshine.
